Public Transit

Sudbury Transit offers the GOVA Zone service to the airport.

GOVA Zone (previously known as “TransCab”) extends the reach of public transit to outlying areas of Greater Sudbury, including the Greater Sudbury Airport. GOVA Zone works by connecting transit riders using conventional transit routes at a local mobility hub to a taxi that will bring you to the airport. GOVA Zone is included in the price of your Sudbury Transit fare and services are delivered by partner taxi companies.

  • Those wishing to use the GOVA Zone service to the airport, must tell the bus driver upon embarking that you require a GOVA Zone transfer to the airport. The driver will make arrangements to have a GOVA Zone vehicle at the local mobility hub.
  • Those wishing to use the GOVA Zone service from the airport, must call 705.805.1300, at least 90 minutes before your connecting bus is due to arrive at your local mobility hub. When you call, you will be asked to provide your name and location for pickup.

Please note, times available for the GOVA Zone service vary and some restrictions may apply.
