Various methods of ground transportation are available to make travelling to and from the airport as stress-free and convenient as possible.
Greater Sudbury Transit offers TransCab service to the airport.
Those wishing to use the TransCab service to the airport must tell the bus driver upon embarking on the 303 route that you require a TransCab transfer to the airport. The driver will make arrangements to have a TransCab vehicle at the North Star Confectionary on Skead Road.
Please note, times available for the TransCab service vary. Please visit the link below for a full list of specific times for Route 303.
If, however, you are flying in to Greater Sudbury, we ask that you call to book a TransCab pickup at the airport at least 90 minutes in advance. You may pre-book your TransCab pickup well in advance, however 90 minutes is the minimum required advanced notice. Bookings may be done by calling 705-522-1380.

For your convenience you may also pre-arrange drop-off or pick-up with any other taxi provider.
Vehicle stands are located outside the arrivals doors of the airport.

We encourage passengers to pre-arrange transportation with Sudbury Cab in order to avoid wait times. Accessible vehicles are also available through Sudbury Cab prior arrangements are encouraged to ensure immediate service.
Passengers may use any preferred taxi company or driver for transportation to the airport. Passengers may also use any preferred company for pick-up at the airport, if arrangements have been made in advance. Pre-arranged Taxis will be in the designated waiting area, located near the Arrivals doors of the passenger terminal building.
Fares and General Information
All taxi and shuttle drivers serving the Greater Sudbury Airport are fully licensed to ensure public safety.
TAXI RATE POLICY: Fares with Sudbury Cab are based on pre-determined zones. Any fare beginning outside the identified zones will be based on a meter rate, or pre-determined amount with the driver.
SHUTTLE RATE POLICY: Passengers travelling as individuals will pay the shuttle flat rate identified on the rate card. Passengers travelling together and to the same location, will pay the flat rate identified on this rate card for the first passenger, and $5 for each additional passenger in the group.
Note: Taxis provide a direct route to your end destination while shuttles may perform several stops on route to various destinations, at a reduced rate. You may choose whichever service best suits your travelling needs.
