Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation Welcomes New CEO

GREATER SUDBURY, September 15, 2016 – The Sudbury Airport Community Development Corporation (SACDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Tripp to the role of CEO for the Greater Sudbury Airport. A qualified recruitment firm, in partnership with a dedicated team of Airport Authority Directors undertook a national search to find the ideal candidate to fill the role of from recently retired Airport CEO, Robert Johnston.

“Mr. Tripp brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in aviation to his new position of CEO, “ said Dr. Bish Bora Chair, SACDC Board of Directors. “We are confident that Todd’s experience and leadership will successfully lead the Greater Sudbury Airport through its next phase of evolution,”

Mr. Tripp’s background in aviation include a career working for Canada’s largest airline, Air Canada, as well as several years in the role of Associate Director of Aviation Special Projects for the nation’s larger airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport. His extensive background in aviation will be an asset to the future growth of the airport

Regular scheduled flights provided by Bearskin Airlines offer air service to and from many Northeastern Ontario centres. Sunwing Airlines offers flights from Greater Sudbury to various sun destinations from November to April.
